Simpletech Portable Hard Drive What Is A Good Portable Hard Drive?

What is a good portable hard drive? - simpletech portable hard drive

I watch SimpleTech and Western Digital external hard drives (80 GB and more). Which is the best? Or if they do not then which brand is best?

You can not go wrong with Western Digital. I have a hard 40gigabyte bought five years ago, running as if was hardly used. My Passport drives are cheap and easy. The other brands I've never heard of him, so I can not say much. Good luck in your search.

Western Digital and Seagate are large. You can also use fields that you can put your 1.8 ", within 2.5" or 3.5 "hard drives.

They all have roughly the same failure rate. You can try to choose the best speed, but can be limited to the external interface anyway.

It is better to take the dollar amount and divide by Gigabyte ... then you will see U.S. dollar per gigabyte.

Even though everything is pretty much the same way that you choose what you think, an elegant look to your desktop.

I was really important on a Western Digital, but not. Above all, external factors are the same. They are cheap these days so stacked in mind!

I personally still far from WD Mybook series, which is not really a portable hard drive, the more of a "stay out of my computer somewhere Theres just incase Power Surge" unit

Why do I call this against the target of an external, due to the fact that you can turn off the power button for 30 seconds, and keep backup functions must say, are rare,

If you have a large (eg 250 GB to) 320 GB, you will be a 3.5 "is needed, these compounds are very reliable and a USB connection or via e-SATA, FireWire, or brand, I recommend Seagate Agreement Agent Pro

if you want portability, namely, (usually 160 or less) I recommend any 2.5 "Portable Hard Drive (WD, Seagate, whatever) in a basic box, $ 15, so that you do not need" an external power source, has only one USB port on your PC.
