Glandular Fever Pain Behind Ear Anyone Else Got Pain Behind Ear, After Glandular Fever/Mono?

Anyone else got pain behind ear, after Glandular Fever/Mono? - glandular fever pain behind ear

I had glandular fever two years ago and still not right. The worst symptoms are pain behind the ears, behind the ear where the bone is (a doctor told me that pain is the lymph nodes, the other says mastoid). Some days it's not hurt, other days it is very painful. Today I have a sore throat, so I wonder if it is connected.

I wonder if anyone else has noticed this pain after mononucleosis or other virus?

Mono will never be living with more or less always after infection, actually only symptoms in the acute phase, which is also the only time I really contagious. Swollen glands are a symptom of mono final and probably safer, because your pain. If there is a lot then go to your doctor, but there are really many things that can happen over time. Good Luck

I think you should check mastoiditis idea more. I do not think the pain behind the ears, it is associated mononucleosis, also known as mononucleosis.

Mastoiditis is most common in children than in older people, but it also occurs in adults. The sore throat can only sore throat, as we all do from time to time.

These pages discuss mastioditis.
